Being able to see and work without constant zooms "JCL" wrote in I have been using dual screens since r9 dos. I leave acad almost fullscreen on monitor #1 (22") and Useful for keeping your properties dialog open but off the main working screen area. This means as you move your mouse across it continues across into the virtual second screen. You might be better getting a good 19" monitor or having a look at a Matrix video card, which gives you a virtual second screen. You can also keep your explorer open all the time. You can have a full screen for your AutoCAD drawing and any toolbars in the second screen, useful for the property dialog. For instance the login in windows, or when you install software each time you accept a screen it will be split between the two monitors. You will have a 3 to 4 inch space between the two and some programs tend to start up in the middle, which will split the program. Some users have used Microstation previous and they say that Microstation takes better advantage of the dual monitors, you did not have to click in each monitor to initialize it.
